Meet The Team


Daneille Moussali


Daniele Moussalli is an art curator and cultural programs professional with over twenty-five years of experience in creative production, cultural programming, and international collaboration. Based in the Washington, DC area, she designs and curates exhibitions and cultural initiatives that highlight contemporary artistic practices and promote intercultural dialogue.

Her work spans partnerships with cultural institutions, embassies, and nonprofit organizations, where she brings a strong curatorial vision, strategic planning, and rigorous execution to each project. 

Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, Danielle is committed to advancing cultural exchange and using the arts as a platform for dialogue, connection, and mutual understanding.

Basma ElHelwe Paget


Basma ElHelwe Paget is a native of Lebanon, a wife and mother of three, and a nonprofit and community leader based in Arlington, Virginia. An Arabic, French, and English speaker, she is committed to supporting both American and Lebanese causes by building bridges between cultures, strengthening community ties, and mobilizing support through service and philanthropy.


She serves in leadership and board capacities across a range of local civic and community organizations, including Treasurer of the Gulf Branch Civic Association, Board Member and Hospitality & Fundraising Chair with the Arlington Women’s Civic Alliance, and a board member at Washington Golf and Country Club. Basma also works with the Lebanese Embassy on cultural and community initiatives that bring people together, celebrate Lebanese heritage, and advance meaningful impact. She holds a B.A. in Communications from George Mason University.

Sara Baba Ghayad

Sara is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with deep experience supporting nonprofit organizations through strategic storytelling, fundraising communications, and cultural diplomacy. She holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from the American University and brings a disciplined, data-informed, and creative approach to advancing mission-driven initiatives.


Her background includes founding and leading impact-focused ventures in Lebanon, including pioneering initiatives in the wellness and cultural spaces and co-founding a platform dedicated to empowering Lebanese women designers and expanding economic opportunity. Sara is committed to leveraging culture as a catalyst for dialogue, empowerment, and cross-cultural understanding.

Louise Doumet

Cedar Alliance strengthens Lebanon's cultural presence in the United States, supports Lebanese expatriates and youth, and highlights Lebanon's creativity and innovation to international partners.


By combining cultural, professional, and digital outreach, the Foundation positions Lebanon as a credible and respected cultural presence while creating lasting connections with communities and institutions.
