About SAMER BURJAS

Samer Burjas is a contemporary acrylic painter based in Alexandria, Virginia, known for his expressive style and vibrant color palette. Through thick, textured brushwork, his work captures the resilience of nature within simplified landscapes, where emotion and atmosphere take precedence over detail.

Burjas received his BFA in 1992 from the Lebanese University Academy of Fine Arts in Lebanon. His work has been featured in solo exhibitions both in his home country and in the United States.

He is a member of the Arlington Artists Alliance, participating in their collective and juried exhibitions. His paintings are held in several private collections.
